Equipment records, photos, private manuals, warranty records, and emergency procedures are included on every plan. Pro and Business also include estimates, homeowner work approvals, review-request emails, decision alerts, and approval history. Maintenance stays with your team's tasks and recurring tasks; there is no separate homeowner maintenance calendar.

What happens to work approvals if I downgrade to Solo?

Accepted Answer

On an active Solo subscription, your saved proposals, decision receipts, and work history remain available. Homeowners can still respond to proposals already sent, and you can retry eligible review emails, withdraw proposals, and record work progress and completion. Creating or editing proposals and sending new revisions requires Pro or Business. Approvals never charge a homeowner or automatically add invoice items.

How does the AI report drafting actually work?

You tap through a checklist on your phone and photograph anything notable. When you finish, the AI turns those facts into a clear, formatted summary written for the homeowner. You review and edit every word before it sends. It's a strong first draft, not a black box.

What's an AI report credit, and what happens if I run out?

Each plan includes a monthly pool of AI report credits (50 on Solo, 200 on Pro, 500 on Business), and one credit covers one report draft. Hit the limit? You can still log visits and write reports manually; the AI drafting simply pauses until your credits reset or you upgrade. Credits reset every billing cycle.

Yes. Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest, and photos, reports, and client records are stored and backed up in the cloud. Lose your phone? Sign in on a new device and your business is all still there.

No. Homeowners get a secure, unique link by email (and SMS on Pro and Business). One tap and they're looking at their home's status, photos, and reports. No account to create, no password to forget.

How does billing and payments work?

You generate invoices inside NestWatch. When a homeowner opens their report in the portal, they see a clear 'Pay Invoice' button and pay by card or bank account. Funds deposit straight to your business bank account. The mailbox stops being part of your billing system.

What does it cost to accept card payments?

Card and bank payments are one all-in rate: 3.3% on Solo and Pro, 3.0% on Business, plus 30¢ per transaction. That covers card processing, secure checkout, and automatic deposit to your bank.
