Create and use checklist templates
Standardize your visits so nothing gets skipped.

Templates let you reuse the same structured checklist on every visit, so your inspections stay consistent across properties and your reports come out uniform.

- Open Templates from the sidebar and click New Template (or start from a preset).
- Use Edit details to rename a template or change its description. Duplicate opens the new copy for editing right away, so you can label it for a residence.
- Add or edit checkpoints, including the room or category and whether each item is required. Drag the handle to reorder them, or use the Move up and Move down buttons.
- Choose a Default checklist template in a property's Visits tab, or leave it on Use workspace default.
Checklist items are copied when a visit is created. Editing a source template, changing a property default, or reordering template items affects future visits only. Existing inspections and their checklist items do not change. Storm visits keep their matching storm checklist unless you deliberately choose another template.
Already have a checklist as a document, spreadsheet, or photo? Click Import from file on the Templates page and AI turns it into an editable template. You review the name, description, and every item before saving, and each file parse uses one AI credit. See "Import properties, homeowners, and checklists from a file" under Getting started for the details.
