Run your first home watch visit, start to finish
The complete walkthrough: set up a property and client, run the visit, send the report, and get paid.

This is the full loop, end to end. It mirrors the Getting Started checklist on your dashboard, so by the time you reach the bottom you'll have run a real visit and sent a real report.
1. Set up the property and client
- Open Properties in the sidebar and click Add Property. Enter the name, full address, and any access notes (gate codes, alarm info).
- Open Homeowners and click Add Homeowner. Enter their name and email. The email is how they'll receive their portal link.
- On the property's detail page, use Link a homeowner to connect the two, so the client sees this home's reports.

2. Build a checklist template (once)
Before your first visit, open Templates and pick a starting preset (Standard House, Condo, or Seasonal Property) or build your own. If you already have a checklist as a document, Import from file turns it into a template. A template means every visit covers the same checks and your reports come out consistent.
3. Run the visit
- From the property, tap New Inspection and pick your template when you arrive on-site.
- Work through the checklist room by room, marking each item OK or flagging a problem.
- Take photos of anything notable; they attach to the item you're on automatically.
- Complete the visit when you leave, and it's instantly ready for an AI report.

4. Send the report
- From the finished visit, tap Generate AI Report.
- Review the draft and edit any section: fix wording, add detail, or trim anything.
- Tap Send to Homeowner. They get a secure link to their portal, and nothing goes out until you send it.

5. Get paid (optional)
Set up your service catalog so invoice line items fill in automatically, then create an invoice from the visit. Connect payouts on the Payments page and the homeowner can pay by card or bank straight from their portal, or record a check as paid for free.
