How homeowners access their portal
Find the portal controls for the right property, then copy, send, or resend its secure link.

Homeowners never create an account or remember a password. A secure link establishes a trusted session on that device and opens the homeowner's properties, reports, photos, messages, service requests, and invoices.

Each emailed link is property-specific, but an established homeowner session can securely switch among every property assigned to that homeowner.
Where the portal link controls are
- Open Homeowners from the sidebar and choose the homeowner.
- Open Properties & Visits.
- Find the property they need. Use Copy portal link, Send portal link, or Resend portal link on that property's card.
You can also open Properties from the sidebar, choose the property, and find Portal access in its Homeowner section.
Copy, send, or resend
- Copy portal link gets the property's current secure link so you can share it yourself.
- Send portal link emails first-time access to the homeowner.
- Resend portal link emails a fresh link. Older emailed links for that property stop working, but devices that already established a valid session stay signed in.
Home screen access
After opening the secure link, a homeowner can add NestWatch to their phone or tablet home screen. The icon opens the credential-free /portal address and uses that device's trusted session, so the private email token is never saved in the shortcut.
For iPhone and iPad, open the portal in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, open it in Chrome and choose Install app or Add to Home screen. See Add NestWatch to your phone or tablet for complete steps.
