Add and edit a property
Create the homes you watch and keep their details up to date.

- Open Properties from the sidebar.
- Click Add Property in the top right.
- Enter a name, the full address, and any access notes (gate codes, alarm info, etc.).
- Click Save. The property now appears in your list and is ready for visits.
Tip · Accurate addresses matter: NestWatch geocodes the address so on-site visit verification can confirm you were actually at the property.
Importing a whole list
Have your homes in a spreadsheet, document, or photo already? Click Import from file next to Add Property and AI turns it into properties you review before anything is saved. Likely duplicates are flagged, and each file parse uses one AI credit. The full guide, "Import properties, homeowners, and checklists from a file", is under Getting started in this help center.
Editing later
Open any property and use Edit to update its details. Changes apply immediately and don't affect past visits or reports.
