Open a record's activity feed
Open a property or homeowner, then select the Activity tab. This operator-only CRM timeline brings the record's interactions and operational history together in reverse chronological order. A homeowner's timeline also includes activity associated with properties linked to that homeowner; a property's timeline is scoped to that property.
Automatic timeline entries
NestWatch adds entries from work already recorded in the app. These include sent or received email and text messages, completed visits, invoices sent or paid, issue notes and status changes, and service-request activity.
Task completions are optional. When you complete a task linked to a property or homeowner, select Log to customer activity in the confirmation dialog to add it to the timeline; the checkbox is off by default.
When an automatic entry has an underlying record, choose View record to open its source, such as the communication hub, inspection, invoice, issue, service request, or task. The source link gives you the original context instead of duplicating that record in the activity feed.
Log a call, meeting, proposal, or renewal
- On the Activity tab, click Log activity.
- Choose Note, Call, Email, Proposal sent, Renewal conversation, Meeting, or Other update.
- Enter a required summary and optional details.
- For older activity, choose the historical date when it happened. Leave the date blank to use the current time.
- Click Log activity to add the internal entry to the timeline.
Filter and review the timeline
Use the activity filter to show All activity, Manual notes, Communications, Visits, Billing, Issues, Service requests, or Tasks. Click Load more when the record has more than the first 25 entries. Each item keeps its event date and time, summary, available details, actor, and source link.
